At JACOM, our mission is to educate the people in Accompong, Jamaica through Schooling, Agriculture, Leadership Development, and Spiritual Growth.

Our History
JACOM was formed in 2004, but seeded in the 1990s when Harald Peterson was lead to Christ by a Pastor in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The first time Harald visited the town of Accompong in the mountains of Jamaica, his heart was captured by the amazing people and immense poverty of the community. With prompting of the Holy Spirit, Harald sold everything, and built a building which has since been named The Peterson Center. This building is the main hub of many of JACOM's ministries and has housed many Bible Studies, Bible Schools, Mission Groups, and more since it was built.
